Grass a brilliant green. Hills swathed in fog. Trees clinging to their green leaves. Air full of rain. Everything glistening. Nary a breeze. The patter of the rain on my hat. Cars driving by on wet pavement. The stillness, the freshness.

If I remember correctly, they were the Mary Janes. They are Beautifeel shoes, Bella style. I got them because my feet hurt when I danced. I paid $160 for them at the Berkeley Walk Shop. The shoes are about that price and worth it. I have worn them for a couple of years now and they are still good to go. The Berkeley Walk Shop is not worth it. I was not pleased with their service, so if you can find them somewhere else, I would recommend you get them there.
