Most modern religions propose that we need intermediaries–priests, priestesses, rabbis, imams, monks–to get connected to the divine source. If what I am doing/practicing can be called a religion, I am and have always been and will be the primary power and connection to the spirit. It all comes from within me and into me. I feel it is personal for each person. The books, scared texts, churches, practices, teachers, priests, priestess, etc. can be guides but never the actual connection.
