Basic Enneagram class in Palo Alto

For those that are interested in the basics of the Enneagram and live more south than Berkeley, there is a basic enneagram class that meets on Wednesdays evenings from March 1 to May 3 in Palo Alto offered by the Foundation for Global Community.

I have taken a class with these people and think they are pretty good. I would be interested in this class if it wasn’t in Palo Alto on weeknights.

BASIC ENNEAGRAM COURSE
with Jane Kroll, Samantha Schoenfeld, Liz Holdship, and Natasha Vaynshteyn

Dates: March 1 to May 3, 2006
10 Wednesday evenings
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 PM
Place: Foundation for Global Community, 222 High St., Palo Alto, CA
94301
Cost: $200 ($175 if received by 2/16/06)

The Enneagram is a system describing nine different personality types
and their interrelationships. The word Enneagram (any-a-gram) comes
from the Greek word ennea meaning “nine,” and grammos meaning
“model.” Each type has its own way of viewing life, its own
motivations. No one type is better than any other. No matter what
type you exemplify, once understood and accepted, higher levels of
consciousness become more easily accessible.

Nine panels of people–each panel representing one of the nine types–
are the focal point of each session By listening to panelists speak
about their lives, participants learn the dominant traits of each
type, the issues that preoccupy them, their world view, character
motivations, behaviors, how they deal with interpersonal and work
relationships, and what kind of support would be most helpful. Video
presentations and guided visualizations are also used. It’s a very
rich and dynamic way to learn the material.

One (1) graduate level extension unit is available for educators and
nurses through the University of San Diego for an additional $40.
This semester unit is designed for professional growth. Participants
are advised to acquire approval prior to taking the class. For
