Sunday, Crystal and I went A’Labyrinthing and I took some pictures. Now I remember why it took me so long to get my 2005 pictures uploaded. I have worked on the site for about 4 hours from download from camera to full page connected to the other pages, beginning to end. Head hurts now. But it is done and it looks like it is a good source of labyrinth information.
We had a good time and limited ourselves to only 4 labyrinths, walking only two of them, unlike the event in 2004 when we wore ourselves out walking 7 labyrinths. Each had their own character and feel. The Fairview one was a large garden like one that instilled peace and calm in a stealthy way slowly bringing you to focus. The Lands End one was a sharp one that demanded quiet and focus from the beginning.
Pictures are located here.
img 17 from Mile Rock Beach is beautiful and soothing to me, and my new desktop background therefore. thx!!
Hello! recommended that I say hi to you. I’m a labyrinth person, too. I coordinate the Labyrinth Guild at the First Unitarian Church of San Jose. I always like to meet other labyrinth people! Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures.
Welcome.
You might be interested in some other labyrinth pages I have created.
I had forgotten I actually created a labyrinth index page for my previous A’Labyrinthing We Will Go excursions.
Since you like the wooded feel, I can highly recommend Trinity Church just off the Square in Sonoma.
I am surprised we haven’t run into each other or have more common aquaintances. Many people I know are at Pcon this weekend. Either that or Dundracon. I have added you to my friends list if you want to read some other stuff I have posted about. Not too much more on labyrinths though.
Thanks! What is Dundracon?
