Had another dr appointment for the eye shakes/dizzys today. I like this one. He might have a clue. If he is right, there isn’t anything to be done about it but we will know what it is and the parameters of the problem.
He is very thorough. I gave 9 tubes of blood today, have another MRI scheduled for Thursday, and am waiting to hear about when Kaiser will schedule the EKG and Otology tests.
Things have gotten better. The world does not shake all the time and it seems to have been reduced back down to the normal 3-9 second dizzys. My chiropractor and I have decided that while the work she was doing on me was good, it wasn’t actually addressing the dizzys.
err?
i know you had the dizzies, but didn’t realize it was connected to the eye issues. Or am I that clueless?
I hope this opthamologists helps.
Re: err?
I don’t know that this new eye shaking thing is related to the dizzys but I also don’t know that it isn’t. There is a similarity between them. We are up to neurology this time. Weeeeeee
Are the eye shakes you have similar to the muscle spasms I have been having around my right eye? I tried the magnesium you suggested for a while (2-3 weeks), but did not notice much difference.
I have also had dizzy spells, but they seem to have been related to a GI-tract thing I had last week that seems out of my system now. I am curious what your dr finds out, and what he suggests to reduce the eye shakes (aside from less stress). What kind of dr are you seeing about this?
I am glad to hear that things have gotten better some. Hang in there, you are not alone. Feel free to utilize my shoulder as needed (phone, IM, e-mail).
The eye shakes is the entire world is shaking. I don’t feel anything in the eyes so I don’t think it is the same as the muscle spasms you had (although, those have started today, Weeeee). Since I figure the entire world can’t actually be vibrating, it must by my eyes.
The dizzys I have had for the last three and a half years. If it was GI related, it would have moved on by now.
I hit the regular doctors and the Ear Throat and Nose doctors a year and a half ago. This time around since it is more in my eyes than my balance, I have hit the eye doctor, the eye muscle doctor and today it was a neurologist. Why the neurologist wasn’t recommended years ago, I don’t know but I really like this guy. He says if his guess turns out to be correct, there is nothing we can do about it. But that is ok. At least we will know what it is and the parameters. That way I will know what to just accept and what to get worried about without needing to have it for years first.
I can relate to that alot. I have had issues where I just didn’t care and wanted to know where I stood. So much better to plan than to have the world drop out from under you.
Much love and support dear.
