Well, I am still sitting here and still writing so here is what is on the horizon.

Upcoming events:
Sat is Gaskells and the Danger Twins and I will be Goddesses. We did a dress rehearsal of these costumes at World Con. So why am I up so late still working on it? Because I am crazy, that’s why. In other terms, I am a costumer. Also I will hopefully get to spend some time with Avatar (this nickname may change, I don’t have a good one for him yet) since he has been very busy during the run of faire.

Sunday is a picnic in the graveyard. I am thinking of wearing all white this year just to be different. We have been doing this on a Sunday around Halloween for at least 3 or 4 years now. It has become tradition.

Monday is a normal night at the Plough, of course. I only live a mile away, my excuses for not going have to be pretty good. (I didn’t exist for 4 years so those didn’t count)

Thursday is Halloween and I am not sure what I will be doing that night. I still have to figure out what I am wearing to work that day.

I have Friday off. It is the first day off I ask for at the beginning of the year. This year, I might work my way down to Palo Alto for Friday night waltz west since I missed the one up here. If so, I will have dinner with Corvid.

That Sat (we are up to Nov 2 if you have lost your place) is PEERS’ Bal Des Vampyre. The Danger Twins and I are going as Tarts as in Mary Pop Tart (see World con photos for its creation). The Danger Twins will be Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks. One’s innocent (yea, right) the other is dangerous, where does that put me? In the middle and in charge. I have rented Mary Poppins to work on the costume and maybe a song or two. This Tart idea gives a new meaning to the song “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, in the most delightful way.”

Thank whatever, there are no plans for that Sunday…..yet.

The next weekend (Nov 9th) brings the Pit O’ Scorpions party for the rash of people with November birthdays (and those close to November). Someone made the comment that put all us Scorpios together and if we didn’t kill each other, we would take over the world. And lo, the party was named. I might get to see Avatar that night. He and Ken are at a gaming party during the day/evening and might stop by the Pit party later.

And that Sunday is my birthday. No plans as of yet there are things brewing.

Welcome to my Halloween Season. Can’t imagine why this is my busiest time of the year. Ha
Could be because I have at least 5 costumes in the works for this year. I had to stretch to get 4 last year and I didn’t count the graveyard picnic one.

After this it gets quiet. We only have Thanksgiving and Xmas events. It is sad when you are not looking forward to a time of year because you have too many fun things to do.

So why am I here writing this all up instead of going to bed. I don’t know. Good night
