First off, I have a home phone again. It was working when we got back from our Labyrinth adventure. I had spent the day thinking I needed to pound on them because they didn’t fix it Friday and by Sat evening it was all better. I have no idea why, I am still not pleased with Sprint but I have a phone and connection to the outside world again.
We had delightful weather for our trip around the North Bay. We figured I paid for it karmicly by not having a phone for three days. Having it work when we got home pretty much cemented that idea.
It was a joy to share this event with such wonderful friends. I am grateful for everyone that could show up and sorry those that had to miss it had to miss it. It went well enough, I will probably do it again for the East Bay next.
Over the entire day, we went to 7 labyrinths. That was plenty and we were getting a little silly as we went along. In the first one, we orbited each other. It was a great way to connect with people I care about. The second was very meditative. The third seemed to be about movement. The fourth ended up with dancing, a polka and a reel out of the labyrinth in fact. The fifth became a conga line for the trip out. The sixth was the Snoopy head labyrinth and we jumped on his nose, eye, eye brow and ear and discussed the drain in his brain being a cyber shunt. The seventh was a meander labyrinth and we had more fun trying to get the gate to open (it looked sort of stargate-ish, star treky) than actually walking the labyrinth.
I will be visiting some of them again and I am happy to have experienced off of them this time. Slowly I will be building a web site for this event and to be an information source.
Had a blast
That was a lot of fun, and much thanks to you for putting it together.
It was nice getting out of the house into a very nice day with some good friends.
It was a fabulous day and you are a most wonderful person for organizing and getting us all there. This day meant a lot to me.
