I’m not getting anything done at work so I just give up.
Thanks to capricious_k for this meme.
1. What’s your favorite cheese?
The cheese I eat the most and important to get is Industrial American Cheese but it isn’t my favorite. Current favorite right now I guess would be brie with pesto in the middle, like the stuff from The Cheese Board in Berkeley. Yum.
2. How long do you hold onto odd socks before giving up on finding their mate?
I only toss socks when they are dead. I have a drawer for the mateless ones. Mates have shown up years later so I.can’t.let.go. Once every couple of months, I sort them and reunite the mates hiding in the drawer together.
3. Who was your favorite musical artist when you were 15? Yes, you can only pick one!
Harry Nilsson – The Point! An album I love. I have bought numerous copies over the years because I keep wearing the cassettes out. I now have it in CD form and ripped on my computer in mp3s. I also love the animated feature.
4. What shape are your fingernails in right now?
Too short, into the quick sometimes. I can’t leave them alone right now.
5. Two scoops: of what?
Right now? Sugar Free ice cream: Thin Mint, Butter Pecan or vanilla with heated pie. In my dreams? French vanilla or Chocolate Mouse.
6. What’s your earliest memory?
The Mulberry tree. Pulling the bandaid from one side of my mouth (it was there to keep me quiet for a play and yes there is a story in that) and stuffing my face with mulberries and trying to stick the bandaid back. It got pulled and replaced for each berry and I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t stick anymore. Age somewhere between 4 and 6.
7. When does your pet look funniest?
We dogsat an Afgan hound for a short while. It had been shaved and when it would lean back with its front legs stretched out in front of it, it looked like the Taj Mahal. Very silly and I thought wonderful looking.
8. What do you collect?
Skulls, artistic renditions of the human skull.
9. What’s better than sex?
While there are somethings I feel have a higher value to me than sex, sex has its own category and can’t really be compared. Without the comparison, nothing can be better.
10. What things are you brand-loyal to?
I find I am much more brand loyal as I get older. Right now, that would be books (authors, series), Movies (actors), Snapple

12. Best meal you’ve had lately?
Grilled Steak and hamburgers by Brian at the last Disaster House party.

Marshmallow cream. I lived off of FlufferNutters as a kid. Wonder why I can’t do sugar now?
14. Who’s your favorite poet?
I don’t get poetry usually. Shel Silverstein is the only one that makes sense to me so that would have to be my favorite.
15. Where are you going on vacation this year?
Went on a cruise to Vancouver BC. Next year I am thinking of Las Vegas to see all of the Cirque Shows.
16. If you could change careers tomorrow with no strings attached, what would you be?

dude. I used to eat fluff straight when I was in high school. yummmmmmmm.
The things I missed out on, having hippies for parents. Feh.
You poor deprived child. You will just have to make up for it now. More Decadence!!!
well, actually my mom was quite the health nut and she would never buy fluff so I bought jars of it myself at the corner store and hid them in my room. part of the reason I ended up eating it straight was because that was a lot easier than trying to sneak bread and penut butter up there also. bread would have left telltale crumbs
I use to sneak the fluff straight when I thought I could get away with it. I was such a “good” kid, it didn’t occur to me that it might be all right without sneaking. Remember how it puffs up when you first open the jar? I would eat that bit and close it again not realizing it deflates. Once, I ate too much and it was a noticeable dent so there was nothing for me to do but to eat the rest of the jar and buy a new one. Yes, it was in one sitting. After eating bits carved off of a chunk of baloney. Sweet following salt. My eating habits in high school left a lot of room for improvement.
