There is a profile question of what is the first thing people notice about you. I have seen a number of answers where people put in that they don’t know because they haven’t asked. I think I know but realized I honestly don’t have a clue if I am right or not.
So I put it to those of you that have met/seen me. What is the first thing that you notice about me?
Slenderness. You look like a willow wand, between your height and the way you move.

Well, at five foot one, I notice Taaaaaalll. But I tend to notice that pretty strongly when folks are above average tall. It takes quite a few inches to set that sensor off, but boy do I notice right away (and it’s far weirder) when folks are shorter than me. I never get to look down on anyone, and it’s really disconcerting for me.

A. you were tall…although everyone is pretty much taller than me so that really wasn’t an issue.
b. I think we were at a con, and you were wearing a cool costume.
C. You were so damn cheerful that it was contagious.
Aside from not feeling particularly short, I second all three of these. Tall + Cool Costume + Cheerful.

Your fabulous hair with the pretty grey swirlies! But then I notice hair first on most people. So that might say more about me than it does about you.
