When it rains, it pours. Just got the process of a group going to see Yaz done and I come across wynkat1313′s post (looks like it was posted right after I left work) about Eddie Izzard coming to town July 17-19.

Considering I have a lot of Eddie Izzard fans on my FL, I am surprised that I haven’t seen the news over and over again.
I want to go. I plan to go. I am more than happy to join friends of mine how are going instead of setting up a group myself but I will do either. So, who’s going?
Looks like my summer plans are getting packed. July 7 – Yaz, July 17-ish – Eddie Izzard, Aug 7-17 Denver for Worldcon and packing. Can we stop with the July/Aug stuff now?
Actually, I’ll be out there the 17-19th as well… but I’ll be there from the 17th for about a week+
I’m going to be at BlogHer the 18th-20th, so I’ll have to wait for Izzard to come here, which is apparently the 29th/30th of July, so it will be just as soon as I get home.

You could go with me to see Eddie the night before the conference started (if you are willing to skip out on the pre-con mixer) and can swing it. It would be such a delight to see Eddie with you and I didn’t think it was possible.
I sent you an email with the Denver dates because I “knew” that you couldn’t come to the SF dates. *snerk*

I’m still not sure of the details on the rest of the trip – M and I are discussing it this weekend, as he and Kira are coming out too, just not to the conference.
I’m not sure if I could do the 17th or not… depends on my flight-time, where I’m staying etc. I’ll probably fly in and out of San Jose, b/c it’s cheaper, and that’s where the SIL lives. But I’m hoping to stay at the Westin for the conference.
I’m actually doing this for business reasons – long story, but I’ll tell you ALL about it over a nice long coffee!
Eddie or not, I’m stealing you for at least 8 hours at some point! Even tho I know we’ll have plenty of time when you come to Denvoid – I MISS YOU!!!
I was thinking about you last night too. I was listening to adult retro alternative radio and the English Beat came on – you know, after all these years, going to that show with you at the Rainbow remains my FAVORITE concert experience ever!!

Ha! Yeah right /sarcasm. I have said no to this from the beginning and still say No. Bwaaaa haaa haaaa. Behold the power of No.
I am currently trying to worm out of Costume College in April because I am on burn out mode.
I don’t want to miss out on either but I need a break. And similar events will happen again. Eddie and Yaz won’t happen for a long long time.
We’re looking at buying tickets this weekend. I just haven’t been posting a lot to LJ….
