I am going in for surgery on April 13th (yup Friday the 13th, cool!) to have my tonsils taken out and my soft palette trimmed back. I figure I will be hurting for a week and very happy with my meds. Figure it is a good thing to have done when I am underemployed.

Good luck! It’s not too difficult a surgery. I had my tonsils out at 17, but I haven’t had the palatte trimming experience.

I’ve started considering the very same thing, or possibly the adenoids… I’ve a cousin who had it done and his allergy problems practically have dissappeared, he has better drainage now and things don’t get all backed up and more irritated… which is basically how I live my life all year long…
