Country Dancing in Fremont on Friday

I am coming out of the closet and admitting I like Country Music (mostly the new stuff, not so much the older stuff). And I like dancing.

Looks like a few of us are going Dancing! at the Saddlerack in Fremont Friday night (Feb 9).

The Saddlerack is having a Clint Black CD promo parties including one for this Friday. The CD is Love Songs (more silly valentines day stuff). DJ at 7pm,  classes at 7:30 (the site says Rita – MMM Bop +East Coast Swing for this friday) and Appaloosa starts playing at 9:00.

If anyone else wants to join us, feel free to show up and have some fun.

  1. Saddlerack, hmmm… I last remember it being in San Jose. Guess that shows how long I have been away, no? In fact I remember my parents going there on occassion… and we lived within a couple of miles of it.

Or is there a San Jose AND a Fremont location?

Well, I am not going to be there in person, but at least I will be there in spirit, otherwise wishing y’all some fun now, ya hear!

  2. How brave of you, coming out :)

Would you be interested in a Brooks and Dunn CD that was erroneously shipped to me? It’s not to my taste.

      1. Hi Gina,

I still have this and would be happy to hand it to you any time. I won’t be home tonight until late, but I should be home most of the weekend. Give Skylab a call if you’ll be nearby.

      1. You mean my mad line dancin’ skillz? :-)
The secret is just go early to the `Rack and learn some new things.

Of course, I’ve been linedancing since I was 16, off and on, so… most of it sticks.
