Does anyone know a way to archive an LJ journal? I am getting a significant amount of stuff in my LJ that I want to backup in case something should happen to the LJ servers or the service.
All I am looking for is a way to download the entries and burn them to disk. I would love to have the memories links included if possible. That way, I can find relevant posts.
When I get home and look it up, I’ll send you the name of a really groovy LJ archiving tool that I use. It DL’s all your entries and comments, and updates each time you run it (although the one downside is that it only DLs entries new since your last update, it won’t capture new comments made to entries posted before that update). Would that do for you?
I would love to find out about that as well, if you please.
Alrighty!
Ich auch, bitte!

Not the best in the world, but may be just what you need. Thay also mention that certain client software (not SeMagic or Phoenix, though) can do the archiving as well, to a greater or lesser degree.
